Musée de la Biscuiterie et du Petit Sablé
Come and discover the smell of fresh butter and smell our delicious little golden, jagged, crunchy shortbread during a unique visit to the Musée de la Biscuiterie et du Petit Sablé.
Since 1670, the recipe for sablé, the famous pure butter cookie, has been handed down from generation to generation in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. A showcase for the Sarthe Valley's cultural and gastronomic heritage, the emblematic Biscuiterie La Sablésienne is a family-run, artisanal business that perpetuates this ancestral know-how thanks to the quality of its raw materials worked by its master pastry chefs.
